Davinci Resolve - the beginning of video editing

Now, I have an interest in video editing! lol
But, I have no idea about it. I've never edit the video and even shoot it.
At first, I bought an action cam which is much cheaper one than GoPro. I thought I should start with the cheaper one and then go for the higher specification after I get some knowledge and experience.

You can buy this model at Amazon:

I shoot my first video when I go to Nuremberg Tiergarten (zoo) with Ayeong who is my husband's cutie niece.
I captured this much video.. haha
Actually I shoot dolphins so much because they were so super cute!

And, until this week, I have a pile of work as always. Actually I had more work for this weekend as well but 20000 words of work was cancelled, so I finally have some time to rest and do something interesting which is distraction.

Anyway, the next step was finding a proper tool for video editing. I googled and searched for it on Youtube to get information about it. And then I found one great tool which is called as Davinci Resolve. Actually, I just worked with it just for couple hours and I haven't used any another tool. So, I don't have enough resource to judge this tool, but I just want to share my very short experience. :)

This is Edit tab screen which you can add several video and audio and split them. You can even add subtitle here.

For now, I just put very basic style of subtitles and background music. Of course I also cut and attached videos.

This is the output... I should change the font to more cutie and sophisticated one.
And I think I should buy a stabilizer because the video is so much shaking now.
The video quality would get better and better. It is just beginning. haha
